Our 1st School is Open!
We have waited a long time for this day, and thanks to the support of you all it is finally here. The children of Apchaur have left their temporary school and moved into the building completed by Another Brick In Nepal. Our Nepali project manager, Parshu, was there yesterday to and over the keys to the school committee in a ceremony attended by the local government and some representatives from SODEC (our Nepal non-profit partner) along with all the children and teachers of the Bandevi Primary School.

1st Annual ABIN Trail Run
We are very happy to announce the Another Brick in Nepal 1st Annual Trail Run on March 11th, 2018! Thanks to the amazing support of the Prairie Inn Harriers Running Club we are able to put together this 5k/10k race through East Sooke Park. This is the first ever sanctioned race in the stunning East Sooke Park! It’s a beautiful spot, and a great chance to come out and support ABIN while we continue raising funds to rebuild our 2nd school in Nepal.
All the information you need, including the course description and online registration, can be found here. Entrance is $25 for either distance, and there will be some swag and prizes for our top overall finishers at the end of the race. Building Update – Roofing
While we have encountered some delays, the building of our first school is very nearly complete. This week the trusses went up and were polished, and the tin sheet is now being placed. The children will be back to school soon!

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend our 1st official fundraising event at Glo on November 27th, 2017. The event was a huge success and we raised nearly $8000!! We really appreciate the amazing support from our community to help us rebuild communities in Nepal.
We really look forward to hosting another event soon, and that we will see you all there!
