Building Update – Windows!
Building continues to go well as we near completion. As you can see there are now window frames and the walls are going up fast! The roof will be going on in the upcoming weeks, hopefully in time for the arrival of ABIN’s founder, Rob Tournour, who will be spending a few days in the village before setting off to find the location of school number 2.
Fundraiser at Glo Restaurant + Lounge
We are very excited to announce our 1st fundraiser at the beautiful Glo Restaurant + Lounge. It will be held on November 27th, 2017, from 6pm-10pm. Tickets are $30 which includes food, a drink, and the chance to win some great Nepali door prizes. You purchase your ticket by contacting us via email at info@anotherbrickinnepal.com, payments can be made either by Interac or through our paypal donation account.
There will be a silent auction with a huge variety of items including many local business’ merchandise and vouchers (more details in upcoming posts), a guitar signed by Burton Cummings, Seahawks memorabilia, a gorgeous piece from the talented local jeweller Emma Glover Designs, beautiful artwork from local artist Allison Hill, and many more things, some of which we will be revealing over the next couple of weeks.
We will also be selling our 2018 Another Brick In Nepal calendars! Working with the local printing and design company Better Print Victoria and using pictures taking by our board members we have created a gorgeous Nepali-themed calendar you can purchase for just $20 with all proceeds going towards the our 2nd school. There will also be a variety of Nepali goods for sale.
We look forward to seeing all of our friends and supporters there on the night!

Building Update
Below are the most recent pictures from the school site. Two of our board members, Randy and Alana, went to Aapchaur on Saturday after having completed the Annapurna trek.
As you can see the walls are well on their way to being completed, and the door frames are in. Currently the wall height is at window sill level and you can see the concrete floors being poured.
We are just $7500 away from fully funding our first school. If you’d like to help us complete this school please use the donate link on the right side of the page.

Langford Christmas Market
We are very pleased to announce we will be the Langford Christmas Market this year on November 12th between 9am-3pm in Firehall #2 (3205 Happy Valley Road). They generously donated the table for us to use, so we will be selling a variety of beautiful toques, scarves and jewellery from Nepal along with our 2018 ABIN calendars.
